Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors
Jelly Roll's wife, Bunnie XO, is sharing new information about her health.
Bunnie, 44, revealed on the Friday, December 13, episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast that her iron levels are extremely low.
"I'm trying to get my iron levels f***ing ironed out... I got my blood work done. Ladies, please go get your ferritin levels checked," Bunnie told listeners before joking she is "a certified real vampire now."

Bunnie explained that your ferritin level equates to your iron storage level before revealing that her number was significantly lower than what it is supposed to be. "So you have an iron thats in your body and then you have iron storage. So if that iron that's in your body gets depleted, it counts on these reserves," she explained. "Your iron storage is supposed to be 100. Mine is at an eight."
The influencer shared that she keeps the heat on high at night now because she's so cold from the iron deficiency — and her country superstar hubby isn't a fan of the temperature change.
"You guys wonder why I've been freezing all the time. My husband is like, I literally lived in a meat locker with you for eight years, and now all of a sudden, he's like, 'it's f**ked, I can't breathe,'" she said. "I'm literally anemic right now."
While Bunnie's actual iron level is ok (it is at 108), she noted she is working on way to improve her reserve in case her iron levels do dip.
"I don't have a reserve. So I'm trying to get that up," the podcast host explained. "So I'm starting to take live liver organs and stuff like that because I don't want to take iron supplements that make me sick. I can't take them... and I've been eating out of cast iron again, which I've never done."
Bunnie urged podcast listeners to take their health seriously, saying, " Please get that checked, and please get your precancerous thing checked."
