Live updates: Senate votes a 10th time to end government shutdown
The Senate is voting for the 10th time on a spending bill to reopen the government as the shutdown stretches into its third week.
The measure is expected to fail. Shortly after the vote, the upper chamber will pivot to an $852 billion defense appropriations bill.
