Rose Byrne Suits Up in Armani Privé
Rose Byrne joined a bevy of honorees and special guests for the National Board of Review Gala in New York City on Tuesday night, for which she wore an Armani Privé suited look.
The Golden Globe Award-winning “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You” star turned to stylist Kate Young, who curated Byrne’s look. The black suit hails from Giorgio Armani Privé’s fall 2025 haute couture collection, featuring a seductive, after-dark quality that was replicated in other looks throughout the curation.

Byrne’s black suit featured a pair of tapered black trousers, coordinated with a jacket designed with rounded shoulders and long sleeves — sparkling elements delicately placed on the black fabric of the jacket gave the piece a touch of shine.
Byrne’s suited look also came with a black cummerbund, worn beneath a sheer blouse with ornately designed gemstone detailing and a velvet bow to complete the ensemble. The actress’ look was topped off with pointed-toe black heels, capping off her monochrome attire.

The fall 2025 couture collection, which made its debut during fall couture week in July 2025, “explored myriad possibilities of black in his fall Privé couture collection, from light-absorbing velvets and glistening, lacquer-like fabrics to all manner of jet beads and other sparkly embellishments,” Miles Socha wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
On the dominating color motif of the collection, the late designer, who passed away at the age of 91 in September, said, “For a designer, black is the most classic of colors and, at the same time, the most demanding. When you work with black, you cannot afford to make mistakes: every detail must be perfect, because black reveals the very essence of a garment,” per WWD’s review.
