Hermès to Open in Tampa’s Hyde Park Village
Hermès continues to expand its retail footprint.
The French luxury house has signed a lease to open an 8,030-square-foot boutique at Hyde Park Village in Tampa, Fla. The store, which will be two stories and will be located in the city’s historic neighborhood, is expected to open some time in 2027.
“Hermès is unparalleled in its devotion to craftsmanship and quality. Everything they do, they do excellently. Which is why it’s both unsurprising but also wonderful that when Hermès chooses to open a boutique, they do so with a full commitment to serving that community and a painstaking approach to making it a true point of pride for its neighbors and guests,” said Samantha David, president of WS Development, which owns the center. “Since we bought Hyde Park Village, our goal has been to create a destination that offers the most respected international brands alongside the most beloved locals. Hermès’ opening is the ultimate testament to what the Village has become, and we could not be happier or prouder to welcome them to our very special corner of the world.”
Hyde Park Village is an open-air development offering street retail, dining and hospitality across six city blocks. It is home to local and national retailers including Alice + Olivia, Zimmermann, Peter Millar, LoveShackFancy, Veronica Beard and others. Ralph Lauren and Frame are among the brands that will be joining the center, which also offers the Michelin-rated On Swann and Ro sushi restaurants, as well as a social lounge, gallery space and boutique hotel.
Hermès operates more than 300 stores in 45 countries.
